Welcome

Welcome

Today, 25 May 2020, I am pleased to launch my garden blog Can I Dig It?

Alyogyne II.JPG

Can I Dig It? is a site about my experiences gardening in southern Australia, aiming to touch on familiar areas but dig deeper & wider.

There is already a wealth of information and specialist advice out there solely on plants. I want to link gardening to other aspects of life: family, work, sport, health, music, psychology and the inner world. Don't expect the expected.

Most of all I want to use this site to join with communities of people interested in similar ideas. In this vein please share your thoughts in the Comments sections, contact me at canidigit@icloud.com or comment on my Facebook or Instagram page.

This blog has been a long time in the making – more than three years. Some major life events have led to pauses, restarts, false starts, rethinks, reboots and hiatuses – which is all perfectly fine. I also work full-time.

Now the blog has landed, and I am happy because I have a ton of ideas ready to work with.

What you will see here on launch day are (i) this post and (ii) nine original posts going back to December 2019.

From now on I will aim to post twice-weekly – once in the middle of the week and once on the weekend. When I'm busy I might drop off a bit, and when I've got extra time or creativity I may post a few times a week.

Enjoy! And please consider signing up as a subscriber to get my posts as a twice-weekly email/newsletter.
